So today, I wanted to talk about three important and simple ways to leverage LinkedIn to build your business. It is very known that LinkedIn possesses excellent power in building your network and establishing credibility, and rapport.

But it’s also a powerful tool to get brand visibility, and what I wanted to talk about today, were three of the best practices of how to leverage LinkedIn properly.

1. Fully Optimize Your Profile:

The first thing that you want to do is make sure that you have fully optimized your LinkedIn profile and every section that’s involved in your LinkedIn profile, having a proper headshot, making sure that your about section is filled out properly, all of the experiences that you’ve had in regards to work and business, and making sure that you have the right keywords that are embedded within your profile, so you’re easy to be found when people search.

2. Build A Proper LinkedIn Network:

The second thing that you’re going to want to do is establish the best type of connections to invite to your network. So there are two types of connections that you want to have on LinkedIn.

The first type of connection is what I call an ideal client. This is someone that is best suited for your products, your goods, your services, your courses, or your programs.

This second type of connection that you want to have is something that I call a power partner. A power partner is someone whom you can network with, whom you can collaborate with whom you can get introductions and referrals.

So every single one of your connections needs to be value added in some way, shape, or form.

3. Provide Value-Added Content At Least 3x Per Week:

My final tip on how to best leverage LinkedIn is to provide value-added content at least three days a week on the platform.

So this could be in the form of a general post, a video, or a poll question.

Even a newsletter article is more than acceptable, just as long as you’re providing value where it’s leaving that person better. You want to be giving your audience value-added tips, information, and education on what they can do to better themselves and their business.

That is the type of content that you want to produce.

So in review, make sure that you optimize your profile, build the right type of network, and provide the right kind of value-added content.

I hope you found this helpful.
